The Passaic Optimist Club Golf Outing is a great way to start your summer vacation. Be one of 100 golfers and numerous businesses who will support this year’s outing. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Passaic Optimist Friend of Youth Foundation’s scholarship programs.

The Passaic Optimist Club has served the youth of Passaic since 1949. In 2011, the Club formed the Passaic Optimist Friend of Youth Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization pursuant to the Internal Revenue Code. During the past year, the Foundation awarded $26,000 in initial scholarships to Passaic High School students, and $8,000 in “renewal” scholarships to students now in college. In addition, the Foundation was selected to administer $25,000 in scholarships awarded by the Nicholas Martini Foundation. $60 of each golfer registration fee and all sponsorship payments and monetary donations are tax deductible. Consult with your advisor on all tax matters.
